Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has claimed nothing has been decided regarding his future at the club. The 30-year-old has been linked with a move to Inter Milan and Barcelona in recent months as he prepares to enter the final year of his contract next season.
But the Gabon international has stated nothing has been decided either way as he contemplates ‘the most important decision’ of his career.‘I haven’t recently received a proposition but of course there have been discussions with the club,’ he told French outlet Telefoot.
‘It’s them [the club] who have the keys and for them to do their work. Afterwards we will see what happens.
‘It is a turning point in my career. I have been very frank with everyone. It will be of course a very difficult decision to make.
‘It is possibly the most important decision of my career. But so far nothing has been decided.’The former Borussia Dortmund striker also affirmed his desire to win trophies as he enters the latter stages of his career.
The striker won one domestic cup with Saint-Etienne and two with Bundesliga outfit Dortmund, but has admitted he wants to add to his current haul.
‘Of course [I want to win titles],’ he continued.
‘Every player that is a competitor wants to win titles. Everyone will then ask the question if you would like to win at Arsenal or win elsewhere.
‘But I want to win titles. That is clear and everybody knows it.’
