Juventus Midfielder Miralem Pjanic has undergone medicals with Fc Barcelona and has officially been announced as a Barcelona player. He joined the Catalan side for €60m plus €5m in add-ons, signing a four-year contract until 2024.
But the 30 year old midfielder has always wished he could make a move to Real Madrid which he described back in 2009 to be his dream and favorite club.
While Speaking with Diario AS in 2009, a quote recycled by Marca stated him as thus;
” I have followed Real Madrid since the dats of Zidane and Ronaldo Nazario,since then they have been my favorite club and will always be. Who doesn’t dream of playing for Real Madrid ?”
The Bosnian also stated back in 2013; ”As a child,it was Zidane who made me decide to become a footballer. He was the best I’d ever seen and if you ask me who my favorite team is,I’d say Real Madrid ”.
Pjanic has scored three goals and made four assists in 32 serie A appearances for the Old Ladies. The midfielder will continue at Juventus and will only join Barcelona at the end of this campaign. Pjanic has also been on Barcelona radar throughout 2019 as he was considered as an alternative to Pogba as at then.
